Menendez Campaign: Hugin Can’t Be Pro-Choice & Support Kavanaugh
PRESS RELEASE
New Brunswick, NJ – After donating thousands of dollars to anti-choice candidates and attempting to rebrand himself as a pro-choice Republican during Wednesday’s NJTV Senate Debate, greedy, drug company CEO Bob Hugin stumbled when asked by a reporter to explain his support for anti-choice justices like Brett Kavanaugh, who has a well-documented history of opposing the ruling in Roe v. Wade.
After running from his pro-Trump record in the NJTV Senate Debate, Bob Hugin continued to mislead voters with his claims to be pro-choice while simultaneously supporting Brett Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court. Kavanaugh has a well-documented history of criticizing Roe v. Wade and threatens to overturn women’s reproductive rights.
When told that Judge Kavanaugh said that Roe was incorrectly decided, Hugin incoherently responded, “But that doesn’t mean you change the – there are a lot of laws that don’t get changed but decided for the different reason – and as the ultimate – they stay valid laws, but are changed – the rationale for supporting them.”
