Middlesex County Young Democrats Release Statement Regarding their 2019 Elections and Reorganization Meeting
EDISON — The Middlesex County Young Democrats released the following statement regarding their 2019 Elections and Re-organization Meeting:
At last week’s meeting, the Middlesex County Young Democrats held their inaugural organizational election where the committee elected the following Board Members:
• Robert Zuckerman, President
• Gail Lalla, Executive Vice President
• Juan Carlos Nordelo, Vice President of Fundraising
• Ashley Kaplan, Vice President of Engagement
• Brian Boyell, Treasurer
• Michelle Timoni, Secretary
Following the election, appointments were made for Rachel Cohen as Communications Director, Tiffany Gathright as the Black Caucus Chair, Sam Beson as the College Democrats Liaison, and Daniel Harris as the MCYD Executive Board Member.
“The Middlesex Young Dems is a great partner and will continue to grow under Rob Zuckerman’s leadership. We look forward to continuing working with the Board this year,” said Middlesex County Chairman Kevin P. McCabe.
2018 brought significant victories for Middlesex County and New Jersey. The MCYD will continue to promote its core pillars of justice, equality, diversity, and the promotion of fellowship and cooperation with one another. The objectives of the MCYD are to Recruit, Empower, and Engage.
“The MCYD has increasingly become successful in engaging new members and other counties. Last year, our organization hosted almost two dozen events that were not only inviting but gave back to our local communities. I have no doubt that our 2019 Executive Board and members will continue to build on the work we have done in the upcoming year.” said MCYD President Robert Zuckerman.
