MIKIE SHERRILL AND EMILY CAIN OF EMILY’S LIST RALLY OVER 150 WOMEN TO GET OUT THE VOTE FOR SHERRILL AND LOCAL CANDIDATES

Fairfield, NJ — Today, Mikie Sherrill was joined by Emily Cain, Executive Director of EMILY’s List, women candidates running for local office within the 11th District of New Jersey, and over 150 residents to get out the vote for 11 days ahead of the November 6th election.

“It was wonderful to join with women running for office in New Jersey’s 11th District this morning,” said Emily Cain. “This is a historic year for women seeking office at every level of government, and the women here are no exception. I know that they, along with Mikie Sherrill, will be forces for change in government, and all of us at EMILY’s List are excited to continue our work to elect women up and down the ballot in 11 days.”

“EMILY’s List has been a key part of my campaign since I announced I was running in May 2017,” said Mikie Sherrill. “I’m grateful for their continued support, and so glad that Emily Cain was able to join us today. I left this morning motivated by the incredible women running for office here in the area as well as the women who make up our active volunteer teams. I know that after today, we’re all fired up to get out the vote in the next week before the election.”
