NORTH ARLINGTON – Despite the outright lies of “stable” taxes by Republicans Kirk Del Russo & Amanda DeCicco, the General Tax Rate here in North Arlington has exploded 39% from $2.924 in 2017 to $4.742 in 2024!

The ongoing lies by the incumbents have become insulting to homeowners, coupled with outrageous out-of-court settlements totaling $200,000 to a former library employee Irene Colao who claimed a “hostile work environment” as well as the use of the “N-word” against black patrons of the Library!

39% PROPERTY TAX HIKE COMPLIMENTS OF DEL RUSSO & DECICCO:

If lying about rising taxes is not enough, the scandal at the Library has become so embarrassing that Amanda DeCicco, the liaison to that board has refused to utter a word. Appointed and not elected, DeCicco has offered no platform to voters other than being a straight “yes” vote for Mayor Dan Pronti!

“DeCicco is a RINO (Republican in name only), who rarely votes and is not a homeowner. She lacks any qualifications or record to serve as a council member. She is the most unqualified candidate to run in the history of the local GOP,” offered both Balwierczak and Sever.

“DeCicco’s only contribution is voting “yes” for higher taxes. Even Republicans find her candidacy an embarrassment,” offered the Democratic council hopefuls.

Rumors of ticket splitting by MAGA Republicans is evident due to DeCicco’s opposition to Donald Trump for over a decade.

Placed in the same flood zone where Del Russo & DeCicco want to construct senior housing, GOP surrogates are denying the cost of installation while Pronti refuses to disclose the developer donor which is in violation of state guidelines regarding donations to New Jersey municipalities.

“The Republicans are so delusional and in denial they won’t even acknowledge the $238,800 cost of the fountain’s installation which was approved by Del Russo and DeCicco. Why won’t they acknowledge the cost? What was the value of the fountain and who donated it? What are they covering up? Why won’t Del Russo and DeCicco simply tell us the truth? These are without question the two most incompetent, lackadaisical and uncooperative candidates ever to seek office here in NA,” blasted Balwierczak.

“They refuse to acknowledge the property tax hike. They refuse to acknowledge the $200,000 out-of-court settlement and complaints of racism, use of the “N-word” against library patrons or the hostile work environment against Irene Colao. They refuse to acknowledge the $238,8000 installation of the water fountain they claim was donated by a mystery developer. But won’t provide any information that was requested in a records request. North Arlington is being run into the ground by political hacks like Del Russo & DeCicco.
