NAPAC NJ Reorganization Meeting 2021

The New Jersey chapter of the Nigerian American Public Affairs Committee (NAPAC) NJ held their first Annual General and Reorganization Meeting for 2021 virtually yesterday on February 12, 2021.

 

NAPAC-NJ is a non-partisan committee that comprises several visionaries and high profile Nigerian American leaders seeking for the enhancement of socio-economic impact, a voice for the people of Nigerian origin here in New Jersey, and for their next increasingly influential generations.

 

In attendance at the meeting was Dr. Nelson Aluya, the National President for NAPAC USA, and Mr. Segun Adeyina another NAPAC USA top official who helped to preside over the NAPAC NJ Election by ensuring that the modus operandi was followed all throughout the voting process. Dr. Aluya spoke on the need for the Nigerian American Public Affairs Committee NJ Chapter to serve as a platform to identify, encourage, mentor, and support Nigerian Americans and friends of Nigerian Americans who are interested in policies and as well as in expanding individual talents in the Medical, Median, Education, Political, and Technology space. “We are all Nigerian Americans doing great things to help advance the cause of humanity here  in New Jersey, our United States of America as a whole, and globally.” he said.

 

The newly elected NAPAC NJ Executive Board Members for 2021 are:

 

  1. Oyin Owolabi of Millburn, NJ as Chairperson for NAPAC NJ.

 

  1. Jude Ezeh of New Milford, NJ as Vice Chairperson for NAPAC NJ.

 

  1. Shola Edith Coker of Newark, NJ as Political Director for NAPAC NJ.

 

  1. Prince Anozie of Newark, NJ as  Public Relations Officer for NAPAC NJ.

 

  1. Labode Elvis of Hillside, NJ as Treasurer for NAPAC NJ.

 

NAPAC NJ are seeking to have other Nigerian Americans join them, and they are open to supporting any organization, elected officials, and/or candidates that will be in alignment with their missions and visions for the Nigerian Americans here in NJ, and for their descendants.

 

NAPAC NJ looks forward to partnering with individuals, groups, elected officials, and organizations that will seek to engage, inform, and empower Nigerian-Americans here in New Jersey through policy impact, education, health and wellness, effective advocacy, as well as economic empowerment.
