| TRENTON – Today, Governor Sherrill signed the following bills into law:
S-3183/A-3974 (Scutari, Greenstein/Karabinchak, DeAngelo) - Modifies various provisions of State's renewable energy incentive programs; requires electric public utilities to consider interconnection applications for certain solar projects. S-3939/A-2524 (Zwicker, Greenstein/Spearman, Calabrese, Simmons) - Permits dual-use solar energy projects to participate in community solar program. A-2388/S-552 (Moen, Sampson, Freiman/Beach, Turner) - Requires Division of Travel and Tourism develop and maintain Internet website on historic sites, districts, and roadside markers. A-3883/S-3811 (Coughlin, Quijano, Speight, Walker/Ruiz, Diegnan) - Requires Governor’s Office of Volunteerism to promote and support volunteerism for compliance with certain eligibility requirements for NJ FamilyCare and SNAP recipients; appropriates $200,000 to DHS, Office of Volunteerism, and DOLWD. A-4072/S-3405 (Reynolds-Jackson, Miller, Bagolie/Burzichelli, Wimberly) - Establishes minimum qualifications for persons employed on public works contract. A-4525/S-3116 (Stewart, Abdelaziz/Wimberly) - w/SIGNING STATEMENT - Extends deadline for submission of temporary certificate of occupancy for certain qualified residential projects or mixed-use parking projects under Economic Redevelopment and Growth Grant program to June 30, 2032.
