Trenton, New Jersey. – New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal will speak at the Latino Leadership Alliance of New Jersey’ Summit, this Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 9:00AM at Berkeley College, 44 Rifle Camp Road, Woodland Park.

Grewal as he addresses Summit participants on public safety and civil rights and his most recent immigration initiative, Attorney General Directive 2018-6,” said Nestor Montilla, Sr., LLANJ President. “It is of paramount importance for Latinos to meet government officers who make a difference in the quality of life of our communities.We commend Attorney General Grewal for issuing the Immigrant Trust Directive, which among other measures protective of immigrants and their families, stipulates that New Jersey’s law enforcement officers cannot stop, question, arrest, search or detain individuals based solely on actual or suspected immigration status.”
