New Jersey Cannabis Industry Association taps three industry leaders to serve on leadership team

 

Trenton, New Jersey – The New Jersey Cannabis Industry Association (NJCIA) recently welcomed three new Members to its Board of Trustees. Shanita Penny, Founder & CEO of Budding Solutions LLC. and Board Member of the Minority Cannabis Business Association; Kris Krane, the President of 4front Ventures; and Patrick Witcher, President of Buddy Boy Brands and CCO of Mjardin Group are the latest editions to the diverse group of marijuana industry leaders, experts, and advocates who lead the New Jersey’s largest nonprofit trade association dedicated to the legal cannabis industry.

 

Shanita Penny is a successful business owner, an expert in cannabis business management consulting and a dedicated, passionate advocate for the reform of marijuana laws. Kris Krane is a well-known and highly regarded industry expert, entrepreneur and business consultant who is helping to grow and improve the legal cannabis industry through implementation of professional standards. Patrick Witcher, a decorated United States Air Force veteran with over 20 years of local and federal law enforcement experience, is an industry business executive and a compliance and security expert,” said Dara Servis, Co-founder and Executive Director of NJCIA.

 

“Shanita, Kris and Patrick bring a incredible amount of industry experience and expertise to the NJCIA’s Board of Trustees. Their leadership will be invaluable to our Association, as we continue to lead the effort to establish a well regulated, economically viable, legal cannabis industry here in New Jersey,” added Hugh O’Beirne, NJCIA President.

 

Shanita, Kris and Patrick join other industry leaders, business owners and professionals from New Jersey and throughout the country who serve on the NJCIA’s Board of Trustees.
