‘NEW JERSEY CANNABUSINESS ASSOCIATION PRESENTS’ SERIES OFFICIALLY LAUNCHING WITH APRIL 19TH EVENT

Trenton, NJ, April 10, 2017 – The New Jersey CannaBusiness Association (NJCBA), the state’s leading business advocacy group for expanding access to medical cannabis and responsible adult-use of cannabis, is kicking off its year-long series of industry-related seminars and networking sessions. The sessions – “New Jersey Cannabusiness Associations Presents” – are part of the NJCBA’S ongoing effort to promote the growth of the current medical cannabis industry and the expansion into a responsible adult-use cannabis market in New Jersey.

The first in the series will be held on Wednesday April 19th from 6-9 p.m. at the Galloping Hill Golf Club, located at 3 Golf Drive in Kenilworth. Members of the media are welcome to attend.

“We are excited to launch the ‘New Jersey CannaBusiness Association Presents’ series with such knowledgeable and professional speakers,” commented Scott Rudder, President of the NJCBA. “New Jersey is on the cusp of significantly expanding our medical cannabis industry as well as becoming the next state to move towards full legalization. Each event will feature industry experts that can provide guidance and insight into the challenges and rewards of entering this new and exciting market.”

“Each of these speakers offers unique insight into different aspects of the industry,” said Rudder. “Those that attend the event will hear from experts currently in the medical cannabis industry in New Jersey as well as with operations in other states around the country. They will hear about the challenges, the opportunities and the science behind the plant. There will be Q&A opportunities as well as networking. Anybody that is thinking about getting involved in New Jersey would benefit from these discussions.”

Topics to be covered include:

&#8226 Current laws and political outlook
&#8226 National cannabis industry trends
&#8226 Real estate investment strategies and opportunities
&#8226 Medical cannabis – the science and importance as alternative medicine

“We are extremely excited about where this industry is heading,” added Rudder. “The scientific breakthroughs in cannabis coupled with the statistics coming from other states showing how a responsible cannabis industry benefits the community is something lawmakers are taking seriously. Whether it’s about jobs created, first time entrepreneurs or combating opioid addiction, cannabis is the new ‘Gold Rush’ and New Jersey will play a significant role in the coming months and years ahead.”
