New Jersey LCV’s Lee M. Clark Appointed to Phillipsburg Housing Authority by Murphy Administration

 

TRENTON, NJ—Lee M. Clark, Watershed Outreach Manger for New Jersey League of Conservation Voters (LCV) and Conservation Voters of Pennsylvania, has been appointed to serve a five-year term as a commissioner to the Phillipsburg Housing Authority. Clark was appointed as the New Jersey state representative by the Department of Community Affairs’ Commissioner, Lieutenant Governor Shelia Oliver.

 

“I have had the honor of working with Lee for several years now and continue to be impressed with his dedication to the health and wellbeing of New Jersey citizens,” said Ed Potosnak, Executive Director of New Jersey LCV. “I know his passion for the Garden State and commitment to improving the lives of New Jerseyans will serve him and the community well in this position.”

 

A resident of Phillipsburg for six years, Clark has worked at New Jersey LCV for two years and currently manages the organization’s bi-state community organizing program for its Delaware River Watershed initiative. After working on Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Presidential campaign, he began working as the Field Director for New Jersey LCV’s Green in ’17 campaign. An active member of the Phillipsburg community, Clark was a candidate for town council in 2017.

 

“I am extremely honored to have the opportunity to serve the residents of Phillipsburg, and help to provide safe and affordable housing to those in need within our town,” said Clark. “I look forward to working with all members of this commission to make the prosperity of our residents and town the first priority.”

 

Clark graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science and a Master’s in Business Communication from Rider University. He has extensive political experience on both the federal and state levels, including working with Tom Malinowski’s 2018 U.S. Congressional campaign, Bonnie Watson-Coleman’s 2014 U.S. Congressional campaign, and Cory Booker’s 2013 special election U.S. Senatorial campaign.

 

The Phillipsburg Housing Authority is a public non-profit organization tasked with promoting affordable housing, economic opportunity, and a sanitary environment for low income individuals and families. The Phillipsburg Housing Authority operates in accordance with HUD regulations.
