NJ Chamber of Commerce President Tom Bracken’s
Statement on the Retirement of NJM CEO Bernie Flynn
Bravo Bernie Flynn. On behalf of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce and myself, thank you for your enormous contributions over many years to the state of New Jersey. Your retirement will leave a huge void in the state due to your enormous involvement and commitment to many important initiatives. That commitment helped New Jersey recover from the effects of the recession, and now others will have to step up to ensure the recovery is complete.
You have truly exhibited what corporate leadership should be. We, along with a multitude of others, will miss not only the quantity of your contributions but also the positive, energetic, collaborative demeanor you always employ in your interactions with all of us.
My sincere thank you for benefiting all of us with your enormous contributions. We wish you all the best in your retirement years. We hope that retirement from NJM does not mean retirement from public life because your guidance will be needed as we move our state forward.
