At the NJ Conservative GOP last Thursday, May 24th, it was announced that the organization will take on the Republican State legislature, who as a group stands by while Gov. Murphy signs a plethora of BAD legislation, ie: College grants to ILLEGAL immigrant “Dreamers” (that American students can NOT receive), 2 1/2% pay raise & back pay to the CWA, the Attorney General suing the Trump administration on I.C.E. and Obamacare, the NEW tax on electric bills, re-funding of Planned Parenthood, a $15 minimum wage, DMV instant voter registration, gun control bills, so-called “comparable worth”, lifting of the 2% arbitration cap, and much more.

“There was no concerted effort as a unified Party in opposing Murphy and the democrats on these issues. The people do not support the majority of these issues, and would have welcomed as a breath of fresh air if the Republicans had made their case in opposing these bills,” Paul Danielczyk president of the NJ Conservative GOP said.

“It’s time for the Republican legislators to form a group similar to the GOP Congressional Freedom Caucus and speak-out when Murphy proposes his radical agenda,” Danielczyk suggested.

“The current Assembly and Senate leadership are more interested in cooperating with the Murphy administration instead of fighting it.  A change in leadership is needed to expose Murphy’s harmful agenda and future legislation.  They cannot count on democrat Senate President Stephen Sweeney to their fighting for them. In a recent interview, Sweeney stated that he and the Governor speak daily and are good friends. A GOP Senate minority leader Michael Doherty and GOP Assembly minority leader Anthony Bucco would help to turn the political tide”. Danielczyk continued.

“From Murphy’s proposals of legalizing recreational marijuana to his 2.1 billion dollar tax increase, the taxpayers are looking for a voice and the Republican legislators could be that voice.  The NJ Conservative GOP will be challenging them to do so,” Danielczyk concluded.
