NJGOP Chairman On Spike In Murphy’s Disapproval
.
Trenton, NJ – NJGOP Chairman Doug Steinhardt released the following statement regarding the results of today’s Monmouth University poll, which showed a 12 point spike in the disapproval of Phil Murphy’s rating by New Jersey voters of the job he is doing as Governor:
.

“Governor Murphy’s pitch to New Jersey was that he was going to make the high premium to live here worth it with a golden basket of services. People gave him a chance, but they’re coming to terms with the fact that his pie in the sky rhetoric isn’t putting food on the table. Taxes are up, the economy is down, and Democratic infighting has deprived New Jersey of any clear direction or meaningful accomplishments. We are weaker and poorer today. New Jersey has wonderful potential that we’ll never reach under Phil Murphy.”
