NJLM Recognizes Outstanding Women in Government

 

Recognizing the contributions and dedicated service toward the advancement of women in government, the NJ State League of Municipalities’ Women in Municipal Government Committee has announced the 2018 winners of the Outstanding Women in Government Award.

This year’s honorees are:

  • Janice S. Mironov, Mayor East Windsor; NJLM Past President
  • Carol Bianchi, Committeewoman, Bernards Township
  • Tency A. Eason, Councilwoman, Orange City
  • Jillian C. Barrick, Business Administrator, Morristown
  • Susan Jacobucci, Esq., Business Administrator, Paulsboro Borough

These honorees will be recognized and celebrated at the Women in Municipal Government (WIMG) Networking & Awards Event on Wednesday, November 14 at the League’s 103rd Annual Conference in Atlantic City.

WIMG was established by the League of Municipalities’ Executive Board to encourage active involvement and full participation of elected female municipal officials in local government.
