NJLM’s WIMG Networking and Awards Event

 

The New Jersey State League of Municipality’s second annual Women in Municipal Government Networking and Awards event was held on Wednesday, November 14, following the second day of the League’s 103rd Conference.

Lt. Gov. Sheila Oliver, and members of the NJLM Executive Board helped congratulate the 2018 winners of the Outstanding Women in Government Awards at the event sponsored by the NJLM Women in Municipal Government committee.

Five elected office holders and local officials were recognized for their contributions and dedicated service toward the advancement of women in government.

The 2018 winners of the Outstanding Women in Government Award are:

  • Janice S. Mironov, Mayor East Windsor; NJLM Past President
  • Carol Bianchi, Committeewoman, Bernards Township
  • Tency A. Eason, Councilwoman, Orange City
  • Jillian C. Barrick, Business Administrator, Morristown
  • Susan Jacobucci, Esq., Business Administrator, Paulsboro Borough

WIMG was created by the NJLM Executive Board to encourage active involvement and full participation of elected female municipal officials in local government.
