NorthStar Strategies announced the addition of three accomplished professionals to its team today. Carolyn Singer, Manuel Olaya and Lauren Cranmer will increase the depth and breadth of the firm’s capabilities, strengthen NorthStar’s distinct practice areas, and enhance the trusted strategic counsel that the firm provides to its clients.

Carolyn Singer – Deputy Director, Government Affairs
Carolyn Singer is an accomplished and respected professional with diverse expertise that includes public policy, governmental processes, grassroots campaign development, and coalition building. She brings to NorthStar Strategies a wealth of expertise in strategic messaging, media relations, and advocacy, honed through extensive experience in political campaigns and public service. Carolyn joins the firm after serving as Deputy Director of Government Relations and Policy for the New
Jersey Hospital Association. She previously served as Communications Director to New Jersey State Senators Linda Greenstein and Dawn Marie Addiego. Carolyn
fortifies NorthStar’s Government Affairs practice and will contribute to successful outcomes for clients in Trenton and throughout New Jersey and the region.

Manuel Olaya – Community Outreach Associate & Events Manager
Manuel Olaya is an experienced community outreach professional who adds a multi-lingual dimension to NorthStar’s Public & Community Outreach practice and brings an engaging demeanor to the execution of meetings and conferences organized through the firm’s Events Management practice. He has assisted in the planning and execution of public information centers for firm clients and bolsters the firm’s external
engagement services. Manny also supports NorthStar’s Events Management practice and has assisted with the execution of banquets, golf outings, and multi-day conferences. Manny was born in the United States, raised in Cali, Colombia, and holds
dual citizenship.

Lauren Cranmer – Executive Assistant
Lauren Cranmer is a seasoned operations professional who previously served as Executive Assistant to a C-suite executive at a prominent Philadelphia law firm. She will bring a level of organization and efficacy to firm operations. Lauren directly
supports members of the NorthStar team and is committed to providing a seamless collaboration between the NorthStar team and its clients. Lauren’s organizational skills, project management experience, and ease performing in high pressure environments make her an ideal fit for the NorthStar team.
