NOW New Jersey Announces Election of Officers
NEW JERSEY, January 2019 — The New Jersey chapter of the National Organization for Women, a state-wide women’s rights activist organization consisting of thousands of women and men members, activists, and allies has announced the biannual election of its officers.

On December 15, 2018, the organization held a continuation of its state conference to elect officers for 2019-2020. The newly elected officers consist of the following:

President- Anjali Mehrotra

Administrative Vice President – Jill LaZare

Action Vice President – Margaret Illis

Legislative Vice President – Deb Huber

Membership Vice President – Rick Gray

Technology Vice President – Karen Lontka

Secretary – Elena Gonzalez

Treasurer – Marvann Covington

“It is a privilege to be elected President of NOW New Jersey,” said Ms. Mehrotra. “I look forward to working with the board and our membership to strengthen NOW’s presence in the state. We will use the renewed energy we see in grassroots organizations to make NOW-NJ a force for women, lifting their voices and providing a platform to have their concerns addressed.”
