Offshore Wind The Focus Of Governor Murphy’s Second Day Of His Economic Mission Trip To Germany

HAMBURG, Germany – Offshore wind was the topic of discussion at two events Governor Phil Murphy and the delegation from New Jersey attended on the second day of their economic mission trip to Germany. Earlier this year, Governor Murphy outlined a schedule for our State that will have 3,500 megawatts of offshore wind up and running by the year 2030 – enough energy to power 1.5 million New Jersey homes and businesses. Today, he brought that message to Offshore Wind businesses in Germany, one of which, will be opening an office in New Jersey this year. Later in the evening, he honored the late Guido Westerwelle at the Rathenau Prize event.
