O’Scanlon Applauds BPU for Rejecting Monmouth Reliability Project

Senator Declan O’Scanlon applauded the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU) for rejecting the Monmouth Reliability Project today:

“The BPU made the right decision to reject the construction of massive, unneeded power lines through Monmouth County.

“This decision follows the ruling of Judge Cookson, who previously determined that the need for the project could not be properly demonstrated.

“Further, it affirms the will of the residents of our community who banded together to oppose the Monmouth Reliability Project.

“I’m proud of the thousands of people who joined R.A.G.E. to demonstrate how concerned citizens can have a positive impact on their government and their community.”
