Passaic County Republicans Select 2019 Primary Candidates for Legislative & County Offices

Totowa, NJ ~ The Passaic County Regular Republican Organization, Inc. (PCRRO) selected the candidates for legislative and countywide offices permitted to use its slogan in the 2019 Republican primary election last night.

Chairman Peter Murphy and Vice Chairwoman Joanie Walsh held a screening open to all County Committee members this past Saturday, February 16, 2019, at The Brownstone in Paterson. Candidates for NJ General Assembly and Passaic County Sheriff and Freeholder. After viewing candidate presentations and interacting during small group discussions with candidates from their respective districts, County Committee members were able to share their perspective with their municipal leaders ahead of the Wednesday, February 20, 2019 Executive Committee meeting at The Barnyard & Carriage House Restaurant in Totowa.

The following candidates were selected by the Executive Committee in compliance with the PCRRO’s Bylaws :

NJ General Assembly
District 26: Asw. BettyLou DeCroce (Parsippany) & Asm. Jay Webber (Morris Plains)
District 35: Tamer Mamkej (Haledon)
District 39: Asw. Holly Schepisi (River Vale) & Asm. Robert Auth (Old Tappan)
District 40: Asm. Kevin Rooney (Wyckoff) & Asm. Christopher DePhillips (Wyckoff)

Passaic County Sheriff: Darren Woolridge (Haledon)

Passaic County Freeholder: Maria Giammona, Esq. (Wayne) & William Cytowicz (West Milford)
