Perfeito Running In Harrison

Marlene D. M. Perfeito is running for Councilwoman of the 1st Ward in the Town of Harrison, Hudson County.  She is currently serving as the secretary of the Harrison Elks. During the course of her professional career, she has served over ten years as Vice President to an employee business resource group.  She has a broad range of legal and compliance experience and is knowledgeable in solving complex issues.  In addition, she has established her own photography company, JD Photography, LLC.  She uses the profits from her photography business to provide technology to underprivileged children with special needs.  Additionally, she offers free photography sessions to families with special needs children as a way of providing timeless photos and heartfelt memories.  Marlene is passionate about helping special needs children, a subject she has personal experience in as her son was diagnosed on the Autism spectrum.  The obstacles she overcame and continues to battle on a daily basis are some of the attributes she has that she will carry with her to town hall.   She is a lifelong resident of the Town of Harrison and dedicated community servant who has donated her time and resources to less fortunate families who encountered health issues and financial crisis’.  Marlene Perfeito stands strong on major issues affecting our town such as increasing pedestrian safety, improving access to services and working towards a budget that provides the services citizens depend on while protecting taxpayers.
She strongly believes in her commitment to serving the people of Harrison and can only help the community if she is elected onto the Town Council.The election is Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 6 a.m.-8 p.m.
