Phil Murphy, Sheila Oliver to join advocates condemning Kim Guadagno for lack of moral authority

For eight years, Kim Guadagno stood beside Chris Christie as he tried to divide New Jerseyans. The last week makes it clear she plans to govern from the same failed playbook Christie used.

Three times since last week, Kim Guadagno has had the opportunity to show political courage and stand up to fellow Republicans on offensive behavior and critical issues:

– Assemblyman Parker Space posed with a Confederate flag, posting a picture to social media and bragging about it offending people.
– Media reports revealed Guadagno’s running mate, Woodcliff Lake Mayor Carlos Rendo, was the subject of a lawsuit alleging systematic harassment and discrimination against a Jewish community in Woodcliff Lake, including a tweet bragging about making political hay of obstructing them.

– The Trump administration revealed plans to end the DACA program, which would remove deportation protections from over 20,000 New Jerseyans.

Each time, Kim Guadagno failed to stand up for New Jersey’s values.

Phil Murphy and Sheila Oliver will join advocates from the African-American, Jewish, and Latino communities to condemn Kim Guadagno for these failures.
