New Jersey Seventh Congressional District candidate Goutam Jois, along with other protesters who opposed the GOP tax bill, met with Rep. Lance at his district office yesterday. Rep. Lance told the protesters that he opposed the tax bill, but then voted later that evening to advance the bill to conference committee.

“Just hours after meeting with us and assuring us that he opposed the tax bill, Rep. Lance went back to Washington and voted to move it one step closer to becoming law,” said Jois. “Rep. Lance owns this bill as much as President Trump and Speaker Ryan, and that’s why the voters will hold him accountable in November.”
