Republican Liberty Caucus Endorses
Steve Lonegan for Congress

“He is a fiscal conservative who has shown that he can get things done.”

Hackensack, NJ — Mayor Steve Lonegan, conservative Republican candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s 5th District, is announcing that he has received the endorsement of the Republican Liberty Caucus (RLC).

The RLC endorsement comes on the heels of Mayor Lonegan having been named just one of 14 congressional candidates added to the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) Young Guns “Contenders” list last week.

Via the RLC release:

“The RLC is excited to endorse Steve Lonegan for New Jersey Congressional District 5,” said Matt Nye, Republican Liberty Caucus National Chairman. “He is a fiscal conservative who has shown that he can get things done.”

“Steve’s time as Mayor of Bogota, New Jersey and his continued fight for the taxpayers of New Jersey has shown his dedication to fighting for fiscal restraint and limited government,” Nye said. “Candidates that follow through on their promises once elected are rare, and should be rewarded when they do so.”
