SEIU New Jersey State Council Congratulates Mikie Sherrill on her election as Governor of New Jersey
Newark – The SEIU New Jersey State Council congratulates Mikie Sherrill on her election as Governor of New Jersey. The SEIU NJ State Council includes 1199 SEIU Healthcare Workers East, the Committee of Interns and Residents; the Laundry, Distribution and Food Service Joint Board of Workers United, and 32BJ Motor Vehicle Inspectors, unions that represent a diverse array of more than 20,000 essential workers in New Jersey’s health care sector, warehouse distribution centers, public services and related sectors.

Throughout this gubernatorial campaign State Council affiliates mobilized their members, knocking on more than ten thousand doors and making countless phone calls in support of this important election.
The SEIU NJ State Council is composed of unions representing service employees across the state, including health care, warehouse, laundry, and school cafeteria workers. Our diverse membership also includes motor vehicle inspectors, resident physicians, and municipal employees in Newark.
