Seniors Enjoy Evening of Classical Music with Councilman Mike DeFusco, Renowned Cellist Daniel Lelchuk

HOBOKEN, N.J. — Hoboken seniors enjoyed an evening of classical music with Councilman Mike DeFusco and renowned cellist Daniel Lelchuk. Lelchuck, a Washington Post featured musician and Assistant Principal cellist of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, shared the history behind each piece he performed and lead conversations with the seniors in attendance.

The event was part of Councilman DeFusco’s initiative to bring quality music and arts to Hoboken.

“Embracing the arts in Hoboken is essential in creating a diverse community that encourages makers and creators to invest in our city,” said Councilman DeFusco. “Tuesday’s event gave our seniors the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing evening of quality music with their friends and learn about the rich history behind some of the most classical compositions. Daniel is not only an incredible musician but also a great friend and I am so grateful for the time he spent sharing his talent with Hoboken seniors.”
