Sheriff Cureton to Administer Oath of Office to Undersheriff Orestes Alvarez in Public Ceremony

Bergen County Sheriff Anthony Cureton will administer the oath of office to Orestes Alvarez, who will be sworn-in as Undersheriff at a public ceremony on Thursday, July 18^th. Undersheriff Alvarez will join Sheriff Cureton’s command staff as the fifth and final member. A former Lieutenant for Hudson County Corrections, Undersheriff Alvarez will be responsible for all operations at the Bergen County Jail.

The ceremony will also include the administrative oaths of office for seven sworn officers and the July employee of the month presentation.
