Linwood, NJ — The Ship Bottom Regular Republican Club in Ocean County has announced their endorsement of Hirsh Singh in his bid for Congress.

“Hirsh is by far the best candidate to represent us here on Long Beach Island,” said Ship Bottom Regular Republican Club President Frank Cooper said.  “Not only is he young, energetic, and passionate about South Jersey and the Jersey Shore, but he really listens to our residents and will fight to keep Long Beach Island beautiful for residents and tourists.”

The endorsement was recently approved by a unanimous vote of those present.  “We need a fighter in Washington, DC to shake things up and to break through the status quo,” added Ship Bottom Mayor William Huelsenbeck.  “I believe Hirsh Singh is just that candidate.  His deep interest in ensuring that the fishing community thrives is as critical as his commitment to tourism.  Both of these industries play a huge role in our local economy.”

Singh has already been endorsed by the Burlington County Republican Committee, the Ocean County Republican Organization, the Camden County Republican Committee, the Atlantic County Republican Committee, Atlantic County State Senator Chris Brown, New Jersey Young Republican Federation Chairman Giancarlo Ghione, State Assemblyman and Little Egg Harbor resident Brian E. Rumpf of the 9th Legislative District, and State Assemblywoman, Long Beach Island resident DiAnne Gove of the 9th Legislative District, Atlantic County Freeholder Chairman Frank D. Formica, Freeholder James A. Bertino, and Freeholder Maureen Kern.
