Mikie Sherrill Wins Democratic Primary for 11^th District- Win for Environment

Mikie Sherrill has won the Democratic Primary for New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District. She will now face her Rebublican opponent in November for the General Election. The New Jersey Sierra Club has endorsed Mikie Sherrill for New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District. Naval Academy graduate, Navy Pilot and former federal prosecutor – Mikie Sherrill is running for Congress to fight back against Donald Trump and to fight for our future.

“We congratulate Mikie Sherrill for winning the Democratic Primary for the 11^th District but the real battle starts now. We support Mikie for Congress because we believe she will stand up for the environment here and across the country. She will fight to make sure Superfund sites in her district are cleaned up. We are confident that she is the best candidate who will clean up and protect her district.
