Somerset GOP Freeholder Primary Candidate Quinn Receives NJ Conservative Party Endorsement
(Somerset, NJ) – On Tuesday, Republican Candidate for Somerset Freeholder Robert Quinn held a private campaign event in Franklin Township. During the evening the endorsement of Kenny Lee, Chairman of the New Jersey Conservative Party, was announced.
“My commitment to the residents of Somerset County is to deliver quality services while limiting tax growth. In support of this, I am recommending a Roundtable initiative to solicit feedback from the public on issues they are facing. Additionally, it is my intention to establish an Internship Program in our county.” Robert stated.
Paterson resident and Statewide Education activist Corey Teague was present at the event to show support for Robert and the Pino for Sheriff campaign. Also present at the event were local representatives of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. “Our campaign shows strong and wide support that will make it the most formidable ticket in the field in November.” he remarked.
Quinn stated his background as an Operations Director in the Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity industry and added “The voters and the Freeholder Board will find a benefit in my experience at cost efficiency utilizing Information Technology. As we move forward in our efforts to deliver quality services and control tax growth it will be vital to our strategy. A great first start would be shifting non customer facing functions to County. For instance, we can consolidate and streamline tax collection while improving service to the public.”
Robert finished by noting that the recent unsuccessful Republican county races of 2017 and 2018 require adjustment in strategy and approach or the same results can be expected this November.
“I urge primary voters to consider: Which Freeholder candidate has a vision of the future of the Party? Which ticket has the best chance to win in November given the 17k Democratic voter advantage in the county? There is a distinct difference between what Somerset County residents needed and what they will need to move forward. I promise to serve with dedication and honest representation.”
Robert A. Quinn is a Republican candidate for Somerset County Freeholder; Primary day is June 4.
