Senator Parker Space (R-24) is taking aim with New Jersey’s budget process, calling out Democrats for their complete lack of transparency and last-minute add-ons driving up the state’s structural deficit.

“This budget is stuffed with pork and completely ignores the needs of New Jersey families,” said Sen. Space. “Trenton Democrats have made no serious effort to make our state more affordable—just more reckless spending that sticks taxpayers and job creators with the bill. Once again, Republicans were shut out of this process, and as a result, New Jerseyans were robbed of any chance at real relief. Instead of working together, Democrats doubled down on their failed policies which have led to higher taxes and increased costs across the board.”
