State Committeewoman Jill Space Endorses Lonegan
Republican Party Needs a True Conservative to Defeat Gottheimer

Hackensack, NJ — Republican State Committeewoman Jill Space, (R-Sussex), today announced her support for conservative Republican Steve Lonegan in his campaign for congress in New Jersey’s Fifth Congressional District.

“Steve Lonegan is a true conservative and exactly the kind of Congressman Sussex County needs in Washington,” Space said.  “When the going gets tough, Steve is there — unflinching, unwavering, and completely committed to his friends and allies.  I know he will win strong support in Sussex County as he has in the past.”

Space’s husband, Parker, is the Republican State Committeeman for Sussex County and earlier endorsed Lonegan in his capacity as Assemblyman along with his colleague, Hal Wirths.

“Taking back the Fifth Congressional District is a priority for the Republican Party in New Jersey and for the National Republican Congressional Committee,” Space said.  “Steve is the strongest, most experienced, and best equipped candidate we can nominate to defeat Josh Gottheimer.”

Lonegan has already been endorsed by the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), Bergen County State Senator Gerry Cardinale, Mrs. Ann Kievit, President of the Northwest New Jersey Taxpayers’ Association, Rev. Greg Quinlan, President of the Center for Garden State Families, on behalf of New Jersey for a Conservative Majority, Alexander Roubian, President of the New Jersey Second Amendment Society (NJ2AS), United States Senator Ted Cruz, Warren County State Senator Mike Doherty, Sussex County Senator Steve Oroho, Assemblyman Parker Space, and Assemblyman-elect Hal Wirths.
