Statement from Mayor Gusciora on the Passing of Babs Siperstein

I was saddened to hear about the passing of my friend Babs Siperstein. She was one of the most influential advocates for the LGBTQ community and an important voice in the Democratic Party for trans rights and visibility. While she may be gone, I take comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on in the lives of countless people whose destinies she changed for the better. Rest in Peace, Babs.
