Statement from Senate Majority Leader Weinberg on press conference on limiting non-disclosure agreements in cases of sexual assault and harassment

“This morning I held a press conference to discuss the scheduled vote in the Senate today of a bill that will make non-disclosure agreements in employment contracts and settlement agreements in cases of discrimination, retaliation or harassment unenforceable against employees. The sole purpose of this press conference was to draw attention to an important piece of legislation.”
