Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey applauds the selection of Commissioner of the state Department of Transportation

Lyndhurst, NJ – The Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey would like to commend Governor-Elect Phil Murphy on the selection of former New Jersey Turnpike Authority executive director Diane Gutierrez-Scaccetti as commissioner of the state Department of Transportation
Gutierrez-Scaccetti retired from the turnpike authority in 2010 after 21 years in its ranks and two as executive director. She worked her way from assistant contract administrator in the law department to executive director of the authority that oversees the Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway. Currently, she serves as executive director of Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise.

“We are very optimistic with Governor-Elect Murphy’s commitment to bringing experienced leaders that can tackle the current challenges our Transportation and Infrastructure systems face. Ms. Gutierrez not only possesses the knowledge and experience, but she also reflects the diversity that the State of New Jersey has,” indicated Carlos Medina, Chairman.
