STATEWIDE WEEKEND OF ACTION FOR DRIVERS LICENSES FOR ALL!

Residents in more than 10 cities to participate in

weekend of action with vigils, forums, and rallies to demand legislators move forward with bill to expand access to driver’s licenses to more residents.

STATEWIDE — November 17th and 18th– Residents in multiple cities across the state will will calling on legislators to expand access to driver’s licenses to include formerly incarcerated, undocumented immigrants, seniors, victims of violence, and members of the LGBTQ community. Residents will converge in more than 10 cities to urge legislators to support expanding access to driver’s licenses in New Jersey.

Expanded access to driver’s licenses is expected to benefit to all New Jerseyans through increased road safety, a boost to New Jersey’s economy through collection of fees and insurance payments, and increase the well-being of communities by decreasing the risk of family separation.

WHAT: Communities and residents across the state will be holding rallies, mass  to urge NJ state legislators to move forward on driver’s licenses
