Steve Lonegan Exposes Josh Gottheimer’s Failure to Stand with His Party on Bernie Sanders’ Single-Payer Healthcare Plan

(Glen Rock – NJ) At a press conference today, Steve Lonegan, conservative Republican candidate for New Jersey’s 5th Congressional District, called on liberal Congressman Josh Gottheimer to take a stance on Senator Bernie Sanders’ single-payer socialist healthcare model, a plan that Gottheimer’s fellow democrats are rushing to support. Making a special appearance outside of Rep. Gottheimer’s Glen Rock district office was “Bernie Sanders” himself, who called on Congressman JOSH Gottheimer to “Join Our Socialist Healthcare.”

“Liberal Josh Gottheimer’s entire campaign is fake news. He pretends to be one person when courting Sanders voters then he pretends to be something else entirely when he needs Republican votes,” said Lonegan. “The only thing we know for sure about Josh Gottheimer is that he will say or do anything and take any position to get elected. The bottom line is liberal Josh Gottheimer votes with Nancy Pelosi 83% of the time and he will vote with her 93% of the time if he wins a second term.”

“I will protect the taxpayers, families, and seniors of New Jersey’s 5th Congressional District when elected to Congress,” added Lonegan. “Voters will always know exactly where I stand on the issues.
