Sumter on EOF 50^th Anniversary

(TRENTON) – Assemblywoman Shavonda Sumter issued the following statement on the 50^th Anniversary of the Educational Opportunity Fund:

“The Education Opportunity Fund has helped thousands of New Jersey students pursue their higher education goals, including myself.  EOF not only provides financial support but also a sense of family guidance, a place to turn for students as they navigate the college experience. I understand the impact this program makes on students and families throughout the state and bridging the gap between home and college.

“Fifty years is a tremendous milestone for the Educational Opportunity Fund. I look forward to seeing the program encourage more students to achieve success for fifty more years.”
