Sweeney To Join In Launch of Sports Betting At AC Casino

TRENTON – Senate President Steve Sweeney will join in the inaugural event to launch sports betting in Atlantic City’s casinos when he places the first bet in the opening day activities at the Borgata Casino. The Borgata will be the first New Jersey casino to open a sports betting parlor. Also participating will be the former basketball star Julius Erving. The betting parlor will be open to the public following the first bet.

The event will start at 10:45 a.m. and the first bet will be placed at 11:00 a.m. inside the Race & Sports Book at the Borgata Casino, 1 Borgata Way, Atlantic City, NJ 08401.
