Sweeney to Speak at Rowan University Town Hall Meeting on ‘Path to Progress’ Fiscal Reforms

Senate President Steve Sweeney wanted to introduce subpoena power for the lawmakers on the Katie Brennan panel to now turn their full attention on the embattled state Schools Development Authority (SDA). NJ Senators did not support this action.

Sweeney to Speak at Rowan University Town Hall Meeting on ‘Path to Progress’ Fiscal Reforms

 

TRENTON – Senate President Steve Sweeney (D-Gloucester/Salem/Cumberland) will attend a town hall meeting from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. tonight, Monday, February 4th at Rowan University Business Hall, 271 Mullica Hill Road Glassboro, New Jersey to engage in an open discussion about the fiscal reforms in the “Path to Progress” report.

 

The event will be hosted by Ali Houshmand, President Rowan University and Ben Dworkin, Director of Rowan Institute for Public Policy & Citizenship. The forum will give the public an opportunity to engage in discussions about public finances, government services and the recommendations of the Fiscal Workgroup that advanced recommended reforms.
