Team O’Dea Maintains Nearly $1.25 Million Cash on Hand Heading into Fall Election Season

O’Dea and Council Candidates Raise Over $220K in Second Quarter

JERSEY CITY, NJ – Mayoral candidate Bill O’Dea and his affiliated Team O’Dea committees once again raised over $220,000 in the second quarter of 2025, continuing to put them in a strong position heading into the city’s election in November. Team O’Dea has maintained a strong cash on hand position of nearly $1.25 million, putting the candidate in a position to run a comprehensive citywide campaign.

“We’re building a campaign that will be capable of reaching voters in each and every Jersey City neighborhood to spread our message and continue expanding our base of supporters,” said Commissioner O’Dea. “I’m grateful to everyone who has chosen to support our team because they recognize our commitment to integrity and our vision for a future where no one in Jersey City gets left behind.”

O’Dea’s $1.25 million cash on hand total includes $603,032 in his mayoral campaign account, $296,237 in his Team O’Dea account and $265,138 in his County Commissioner account, in addition to another $82,000 raised in Team O’Dea council candidate committees. His campaign has maintained a low burn rate, allowing it to preserve significant resources for voter contact from now until Election Day. Team O’Dea has also built an extensive volunteer-driven voter contact operation that has already made thousands of phone calls to Jersey City voters and knocked on hundreds of doors.
