Tedesco Encourages Amazon to Choose Bergen County

(Hackensack)- Earlier this month, Amazon announced a request for proposals from communities across North America to become the site of its second headquarters “HQ2.” According to the company, this project would result in $5 billion in construction investments and bring as many as 50,000 high-paying jobs to the selected region.  Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco released the following statement about the Amazon project:

“We are optimally located, with strong transportation infrastructure and a highly educated and skilled workforce. I’m confident that when Amazon gets to know Bergen County, the company will recognize that we are the perfect choice.”
