Tiffanie Fisher Joined By Experienced Team Submits Petitions for Mayor and Council, Takes Next Step Toward a Different Kind of Government in Hoboken

HOBOKEN, NJ — Yesterday, mayoral candidate Tiffanie Fisher and her running mates submitted petitions to appear on the ballot for Mayor and City Council taking the next step toward bringing a different kind of government to Hoboken — one that is transparent, accountable, and focused on residents.
“Hoboken deserves a different kind of mayor — one who puts residents first, leads with integrity, and has the experience to deliver results from day one,” said Fisher.
Running under the ballot slogan “ Team Tiffanie for Hoboken”, Fisher is running with a slate of candidates that bring an array of expertise, deep roots in the community, and a shared commitment to Hoboken. “I’m so proud of the team we’ve put together,” Fisher said. “Each one of us brings a unique perspective and expertise, but we’re bound by a shared vision and love for Hoboken. I’m excited to run with these amazing community leaders, and I know they’ll each make Hoboken proud.”
Fisher, a former CFO and finance executive, has lived in Hoboken since 1994. She has served on both the Zoning and Planning Boards, currently chairs the Hoboken Hospital Board, founded the Hoboken Business Alliance, and has represented the 2nd Ward on the City Council since 2016.

Liz Urtecho for Hoboken City Council At-Large – Civic advocate and former finance professional, Liz has lived in Hoboken for 32 years and raised her 4 children here. She co-founded Uniting for Democracy Hoboken and runs fitness classes as part of Hoboken's senior program.
Dave Mello for Hoboken City Council At-Large – Former Hoboken Councilmember and 24-year public school educator, Dave has guided local policy with a focus on education, housing, and residents’ quality of life. He also served as Housing Authority Chair. He has lived in Hoboken 28 years and is raising his two daughters here.

Carter Craft for Hoboken City Council At-Large– An urban planner and community leader who has lived in Hoboken for 21 years while raising his three children, Carter has championed safe waterfront access for kids and climate resiliency. He serves on Hoboken’s CERT team and the Hudson County Open Space Trust Fund Advisory Board.

Diane Imus for Hoboken City Council 6th Ward– Born in Hoboken, Diane has lived here for 35 years and raised three children. A dedicated community volunteer and former publishing professional, she served on Hoboken’s Arts Council, has been a Special Advocate for foster children, and is active in local arts and schools.
