Tiffanie Fisher Leads Hoboken Mayoral in Local Donor Support with Grassroots Momentum
Hoboken, NJ - Tiffanie Fisher’s campaign for mayor announced the strongest fundraising performance of the race this quarter — raising over $80,000, the highest total of any candidate, fueled by small-dollar contributions from Hoboken residents.
Of the campaign’s 280 donations, 244 came from Hoboken, a powerful show of local support at a time when other candidates are relying heavily on personal loans and special interest donors.
“This campaign is being built the right way - from the ground up, by the people who live here,” said Fisher. “No developer money. No big checks from outside influencers. Just hundreds of Hoboken residents saying loud and clear: we deserve better than the status quo. We want change.”
Fisher has made transparency, accountability, and communication central to her campaign and to her record of service. As a member of Hoboken City Council, she has sent more than 400 email newsletters to constituents - and she vows to bring that same level of accessibility to the Mayor’s Office.
“Hoboken’s growth must work for the people who live here. As mayor, I’ll make sure every new development puts residents’ interests first - not political donors or special interests.
With the most local support and the strongest fundraising this quarter, Fisher says the message is clear: Hoboken is ready for change.
“The momentum and buy-in we’re seeing reflects that our message is resonating,” said Fisher. “This isn’t politics as usual - this is a movement to elect a different kind of mayor, one who puts residents back at the center of every decision. Our campaign is ready to do more than just send a message to the political establishment. We’re building a movement to win.”
