Testa, Simon, Delle Cava and Stepien to Lead Conservative PAC

A group of New Jersey’s top Republican leaders today announced that they have filed paperwork to form Lead Right New Jersey PAC,’ an independent expenditure political action committee focused on promoting conservative policies to lower taxes, cut government spending, improve the state’s business climate and protect New Jersey families.

Lead Right New Jersey PAC will be led by a Board of Directors that includes State Senator Michael Testa, former Assemblywoman Donna Simon, building trades leader Pat Delle Cava and Bill Stepien.

“Decades of liberal policies have put New Jersey at a crisis point and putting our state back on track is why I ran for the Senate in the first place,” said Senator Michael Testa (NJ-01), also serves as Chair of the Cumberland County GOP. “Lead Right New Jersey will be part of the solution by supporting those who ascribe to core conservative principles: smaller government, less spending and lower taxes.”

“Our adult kids can’t afford to start their lives here and their parents can’t afford to retire here,” said former Assemblywomen Donna Simon, who represented Central Jersey’s 16th Legislative District in the New Jersey General Assembly. “Our families are worth fighting for and Lead Right will offer real solutions to New Jersey’s affordability crisis.”

“Year after year, we elect politicians from both parties who get nothing done because they are more concerned with getting re-elected than making a difference,” said Pat Delle Cava, Business Manager of IBEW Local 102 who serves on the National Advisory Board of ‘Workers for Trump.’ “Lead Right New Jersey will give our leaders the tools they need to fix our state and give future generations a chance to thrive here.”

Joining Testa, Simon and Delle Cave will be political advisor Bill Stepien and Lori Ciesla, who serves as Treasurer of the Warren County GOP and formerly served as Council President in Lopatcong Township.

The mission statement of the organization reads: Lead Right New Jersey is dedicated to protecting the integrity of New Jersey families in all corners of our State. Liberal politicians have put our communities in crisis. Because of their policies, our children cannot afford to start their lives here and our parents cannot afford to retire here. Sunday dinners, where families once gathered together, are being replaced by long distance FaceTime relationships because liberal policies are tearing families apart. Lead Right New Jersey is dedicated to promoting conservative policies and supporting elected officials and candidates who will lower our taxes, reduce government spending, improve our business climate, and keep our families together. We demand honest answers to our State’s complex problems. Lead Right New Jersey is committed to finding those answers and promoting conservative leaders strong enough to enact them.

Lead Right NJ has been created as a 527 independent expenditure committee. The purpose of Lead Right NJ will be to advocate for conservative policies, conservative ideals and better fiscal decisions within the State. Lead Right NJ will accomplish these goals through the making of independent expenditures in order to educate the public and foster a better and more conservative government for the future.
