West Orange Young Democratic Committee Calls on Republican Candidate for U.S. Senate Bob Hugin to be Truthful about his Record
West Orange, NJ June 15, 2018:
In response to Republican Candidate Bob Hugin’s latest television ad, the West Orange Young Democratic Committee issued a statement today, “Bob Hugin saying he is a moderate is quite simply false. He says he is pro-choice and pro-marriage equality in his new TV ad but he curiously fails to mention the gigantic sums of cash he has personally contributed to the most rightward leaning candidates, PACs and conservative organizations that oppose a woman’s right to choose and LGBTQ equality. Lest we forget that he gave over a quarter million dollars to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. Hugin seems willing to lie about his record but that shouldn’t be too surprising considering who his friends are – Chris Christie and Donald Trump. The West Orange Young Democrats won’t be fooled by Hugin’s hubris and neither should anyone.
