Union backs candidates dedicated to protecting working families, economic justice, and strong communities from Congress to County Government

Newark, N.J. — 32BJ SEIU, the largest property services union in the country, announced its comprehensive list of endorsements for the upcoming November 2026 general election. Spanning congressional, mayoral, and county commissioner races across the state, the union is backing leaders who have proven records of fighting for the dignity, safety, and economic security of New Jersey's workforce.

“Our members are the essential property service workers—cleaners, security officers, concierges, airport workers, and school food staff—who keep New Jersey running every single day. As we approach this vital election, working families deserve leaders at every level of government who don't just speak for us, but stand on the front lines with us,” said Ana Maria Hill, 32BJ SEIU Vice President and New Jersey State Director. “From the halls of Congress to our county boards, these endorsed candidates share our vision of a fairer economy, affordable communities, and workplace protections where working people can truly thrive.”
