Bayly Winder Picks Up Key Atlantic County Endorsement from Tracy Thompson

Atlantic County, NJ — The campaign of Bayly Winder, Democratic candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District, today announced the endorsement of Hamilton Township Committeewoman Tracy Thompson, marking the latest show of support from elected officials across Atlantic County.

Hamilton Township operates under a Township Committee form of government, with five committee members elected at large to staggered three-year terms.

“Families in our community are living through a real cost-of-living crisis, and we can’t afford business-as-usual politics anymore,” said Thompson. “Too many people are struggling just to get by while we keep doing the same thing over and over. It’s time for a change, and Bayly understands that urgency. He’s ready to fight for working people, not the status quo.”

Winder welcomed Thompson’s support and pointed to a shift happening among local leaders in the county.

“I’m incredibly grateful for Tracy Thompson’s endorsement,” said Winder. “She represents a new generation of leadership in Atlantic County — leaders who are stepping up and fighting harder than ever for our communities. Tracy knows how tough things have become for families, and she’s committed to making government work for the people it serves.”

Thompson’s endorsement adds to Winder’s growing momentum in Atlantic County, following recent endorsements from Pleasantville Council President Carla Thomas and Pleasantville Councilman Charles Oglesby, Sr., as well as former New Jersey Secretary of Agriculture Doug Fisher and former Assemblyman Ed Salmon.
