Atlantic City, NJ – (April 28, 2026) - The Chemistry Council of New Jersey (CCNJ) presented its highest honor, the Chairman’s Award, to two distinguished member companies during the dinner reception at its 41st Annual Conference on April 27, 2026. This year’s honorees are COIM USA, recognized as the Regular Member Company recipient, and Integral Consulting, honored as the Associate Member Company recipient.
The Chairman’s Award for Regular Member Company recognizes excellence and commitment to community, customer, shareholder, and employee expectations in the areas of safety, health, environmental performance, and corporate responsibility.
Since establishing its U.S. operations in West Deptford in 2005, COIM USA has been a dedicated CCNJ member and strong contributor to New Jersey’s manufacturing sector. Over the past 20 years, the company has demonstrated leadership in safety, sustainability, and responsible operations, including earning the EcoVadis Silver Medal and joining the United Nations Global Compact. COIM’s continued investment in New Jersey, along with its engagement in industry advocacy and outreach, reflects a long-standing commitment to both the Council and the communities it serves.

“We are truly honored to receive this recognition, especially as we celebrate 20 years of our company here in the United States and in New Jersey,” said Michelangelo Cavallo, President of COIM USA. “CCNJ has been an integral partner in our success, and we are proud to be part of this organization.”
“We are an organization that is only as strong and respected as its members,” said Grant Hutchings, Chair of the CCNJ Board of Trustees. “COIM’s long-standing commitment to safety, sustainability, and its partnership with the Council exemplifies the values this award represents.”
The Chairman’s Award for Associate Member Company recognizes an Associate Member that demonstrates excellence, leadership, and engagement in CCNJ’s mission, including active participation in regulatory processes and support of advocacy efforts.
Integral Consulting, a CCNJ member since 2014, has become a trusted technical resource for the Council and its members. The firm has played a key role in supporting complex regulatory initiatives, including the development of technical comments on New Jersey’s groundwater quality standards, and continues to provide critical expertise on emerging contaminants such as PFAS. Integral’s consistent engagement in CCNJ committees, meetings, and conferences has made it an invaluable partner to the organization.
“We were truly honored and pleased to receive this recognition,” said Erin Palko, Senior Principal at Integral Consulting. “This reflects our team’s commitment to supporting CCNJ and helping its members navigate complex environmental and regulatory challenges.”
“These companies, and all of our members, represent an industry built on innovation and responsibility,” said Dennis Hart, Executive Director of CCNJ. “As we approach America’s 250th anniversary, their work helps tell the story of how chemistry continues to drive progress, strengthen our economy, and improve quality of life.”
