CIRCULATE NJ ON SENATE PRESIDENT SCUTARI’S PUSH TO DELAY ‘ABC TEST’ REGULATIONS

East Brunswick, N.J. – Circulate NJ Chair David Greek issued the following statement today regarding Senate President Nicholas Scutari’s request that Governor Mikie Sherrill delay implementation of new “ABC Test” regulations.

“Circulate NJ’s members are deeply concerned that these new rules will have a devastating impact on the state. As expressed by the Association of Bi-State Motor Carriers, New Jersey Motor Truck Association, the New Jersey Business & Industry Association and others, there is a strong belief that this action and its consequences have not truly been thought out.

“A similar proposal in California yielded brutal results. We do not need that here in New Jersey. We thank Senate President Scutari for his efforts to bring reason and sanity to this discussion.”
